Welcome to Brocklebank Group Practice
Patients' needs are at the heart of everything we do. Our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.
Our registered patients can request treatment and advice from our doctors online - we get back to you within 1 working day.
To consult your GP or for other advice click the above link.
It is very helpful for me to know that I can put things in writing in my own words. Because I find visiting the doctor stressful
and forget things, this system helps me to convey information in a logical and structured way.
Do you have your prescriptions electronically sent to a pharmacy of your choice?
Gentle reminder to let us know when you're back home if you've changed it on an ad hoc basis (say, to go on holiday) please!
The information we hold about you
On 25th May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (known as GDPR) comes into law. These changes to the data protection laws don’t alter what we use your personal information for. They will make it easier for you to find out how we use and protect your information.
The fact that the law is changing only builds on what we already do now. It is to give your personal information the respect and security it deserves.
Your personal information is an important part of our service. For instance, it lets us provide you with the right health care, including sharing your health information with other health providers such as hospitals.
If you have any questions, please speak with the Practice Manager/Business Manager

Get Well, Keep Well
Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.
We hope you enjoy having a look around the site and familiarising yourself with some of the online features such as ordering a repeat prescription. Whatever your thoughts, be sure to let us know via our feedback function. Comments and suggestions are always a great way of helping us continue to enhance the way we look after you.
For information on how to register for online services , please go to Online Access
We can arrange to have your prescriptions automatically sent to a pharmacy of your choice. And this can be amended on an ad hoc basis should you need it elsewhere in this country, for example, when on holiday. Don't forget to let us know when you're back home though please!
Accessible Information Standard (AIS)
The Accessible Information Standard aims to make sure that disabled people have access to information that they can understand and any communication support they might need.
Should you have any requirements or know of a patient who needs support, please let us know and we will help, for example by issuing information in large print or putting a patient in touch with a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter, email or braille.
For further information, please read: AIS Leaflet or visit the NHS website www.england.nhs.uk/accessibleinfo
Charities including Action on Hearing Loss,Changepeople, Sense and the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) will also be able to provide further support.
Please do not hesitate to contact the practice if you have any questions about this.
Help us to help the homeless!
Donation box for new/unused hygiene products (wet wipes, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorants, socks & pants, etc) at reception.
We will be on the move - a long way off but we have had confirmation that there will be new premises for Brocklebank practice which will be on the corner of Swaffield Road and Garratt Lane. There has been a local public consultation of the development and the Council have agreed to proceed. We will keep you up-to-date on further developments.
